The School governors have now approved the changes to the new school uniform; the changes will take effect from September 2011.

The school sweatshirts and polo tops are of a better quality than can be purchased at supermarkets; they are made to hold their colour longer and are made by TRUTREX, a leading school wear manufacturer. Additional sweatshirts and polo tops can be ordered from the local TRUTREX supplier, JK Clothing, based in Jarrow. Kays at the Nook, South Shields also supply school uniform manufactured by Fruit of the Loom. Both suppliers also can provide you with additional items such as PE kit.

The students have worked hard over the past few months to put together a uniform which they feel they would be proud to wear.

Uniform Reminder

• Black sweater with school logo in relevant college colour

• White polo shirt with school logo in relevant college colour

• Plain black trousers

• Black cardigan in boys or girls with school logo in relevant college colour

• Plain black skirts – sensible length, micro /mini skirts are not acceptable

School P.E. Kit

Girls

• Lilac polo shirt with school logo -

• Navy jogging bottoms without logo is acceptable but if with a logo this should be in college colours

• Navy shorts

• Navy hoodie with school logo in college colours

• Navy rain jacket (Optional)

Boys

• Black polo shirt with logo in college colours

• Black tracksuit bottoms without logo is acceptable but if with a logo this should be in college colours

• Black shorts

• Green football socks

• Black rugby shirt with school logo in college colours

• Black hoodie with logo in college colours (Optional)

Footwear

• Black school shoes
