SSCS - Technology Department

The department offers a wide range of technology topics at Key Stage 3 which include Food Technology , Licence To Cook , CAD/CAM , Design and DT practical.
At Key Stage 4 subjects offered  at BTEC include Health and Social Care and Engineering, at GCSE courses on offer are Food Technology , Resistant Materials , Graphic Products ,Electronic Products and Product Design.
The department has also established links with South Tyneside College for the delivery of Construction.

The department has had unprecedented success over its relatively short life, with attainment and progress  consistently being amongst the best in the school. Two very successful technology weeks, bring primary schools in to experience technology have also highlighted the work of the department and the school in general.
